All good things must come to an end. Even familiar things which we have grown used to and fond of. If you haven’t heard, Windows10 will officially reach end of support in October 2025.

This end of life means that Microsoft as a platform will no longer be offering technical support, security updates, and feature updates for Windows 10. This is crucial as a lack of regular security updates will put your devices at significant risk of infection or attack.

Windows 10’s successor, Windows 11, has become the new functioning operating system. Switching over to a new operating system can be a time-consuming process, so keep this in mind as you budget for 2025. We expect a rush on workstations and laptops and supply shortages as the date approaches.

We at EIT Networks are always working to keep your company, data, and employees secure, so be on the lookout for more information in the coming days.
